| In the mid 1950’s, E.E. “Spike” Spicer began a humble rep
firm in Tulsa. With a commitment to quality products and
customer service, Mr. Spicer carved his niche in the oil and
gas industry in Oklahoma. Throughout the years Spike
increased his product lines with his relentless work ethic. By
1978, he needed to expand his sales force. At that time he
recruited Charles Jr. Sandburg to become his partner, thus
Spicer and Sandburg, Inc. was formed. Many changes have
come and gone since that time, the territory has increased to
include Oklahoma, Kansas, Southern Nebraska, Western
Arkansas, Texas Panhandle, Western Missouri and Eastern
Colorado. The business now has 15 employees and
maintains a 10,000 sq. ft. warehouse facility in the heart of
the oil patch in Oklahoma City. |

different sectors of the oil and
gas industry, by serving the
Drilling, Well Servicing and
Production areas. |
Spicer and Sandburg, Inc. is operated by Kay Sandburg
and her two sons, Charley and
Jim, who are dedicated to take
the company into the new era
of oil and gas products
distribution. Surrounded by
a quality workforce, the charge
is our own destiny.
